Appointments and Cancellation
Throughout the year I have different types of students that have different needs (sometimes special needs)
and different schedules and I attempt to accommodate every student to the best of my ability.
I do commute to different locations to tutor the above students and therefore need to carefully coordinate
my schedule according to the needs and location of each student.
Tutoring is a seasonal work with limited hours and in order for me to stay in business and offer my students
a great service and yet at affordable rates, I would appreciate it if the student or the parent that makes
an appointment consider the following:
- Please make an appointment only if you are fairly certain that you will show up for the appointment.
In other words, avoid making tentative appointments before checking your schedule.
- Once you make an appointment, life is full of surprises and let’s say you have an urgent matter and
need to cancel, please let me know at least 24 hours in advance of the appointment so I can try to
schedule another student.
- If you have to cancel in less than 24 hours in advance of your appointment time and date, there’s
a $30 cancellation fee due at the next tutoring session; it’s nobody’s fault and is the standard in this
industry and similar businesses as well.
